Destroyed a v323i

My mother took away my phone for a very damned stupid reason.
“I washed my phone in the washer and I need a phone”
Argh, screw off. But nonetheless, I lost my RAZR, so I had to make do with this broken v323i that I had acquired.
First thing I did was vacuuming the moisture out. Tried firing up the phone with nothing. I figured this was going to take more, so I invested in a T-6 Torx bit screwdriver and some PCB-cleaner.
Opening the phone up with the screwdriver, and seperating the halves, I saw that the display cable was heavily corroded. Wow, these things corrode quick.
I sprayed some cleaner in the cap and let the display cable rest in there for a bit. Hopefully that would take off most if not all of the corrosion.
While that was happening, I went to work on the PCB itself, which had some heavy corrosion on the battery contacts, USB port, and some of the various little components. I was able to remove 90% of the corrosion from the PCB, and with that done, I fanned off the PCB, made sure it was dry, plugged the phone back in and tried again.
Nothing. No sound, nothing.
I’m going to let the phone try out a bit, maybe douse it again with some of the component cleaner, but personally, I think the thing’s toasted.
